I’m Bia, the creative face behind Bianco Blanc Paperie,

and I'm thrilled to share my journey with you.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, I now call the charming city of

York, England, my home, where I live with my wonderful husband, Josh.

My background is a blend of creativity and business acumen. I graduated in Cinema and spent nearly a decade working in the TV & Film industry, which deeply influenced my artistic approach. Coming from a family rich in artistic talent—my father an architect and painter, my grandfather an antique restorer, and a lineage of entrepreneurs in the hospitality industry—I inherited a passion for both creativity and business.

I’m a self-taught Graphic Designer, and the story of Bianco Blanc Paperie began after Josh proposed to me. At that time, I was working in a production role at a TV channel in Brazil. After nearly a decade, deciding to leave that career was not easy, but I yearned for independence and the ability to control my creative process from start to finish.

I also wanted a business that offered mobility, as our future home—

whether in Brazil or the UK—was uncertain.

My first project was designing wedding invitations for a friend from church. It was a daunting yet exhilarating experience, and despite the initial challenges, I fell in love with the process and never looked back. That first project ignited a passion that has only grown since.

I truly believe I’ve found my calling through designing, and I’m grateful to God for allowing me to work with amazing couples and talented suppliers who make

my job a joy every single day.
